Nevada's tax climate is among the least burdensome in the country. The complete absence of many taxes found in many jurisdictions can significantly increase the bottom line to your business. For that reason, Nevada is consistently ranked as having one of the most business friendly climates in the nation, a recognition of the fact that our state's tax structure offers a business environment few states can match.
No Business Income Tax: Nevada does not impose income tax on domestic or foreign corporations. Nevada levies no taxes whatsoever on corporate profits.
INCOME TAX IS PROHIBITED: Personal income tax is prohibited by Nevada's constitution.
NO ESTATE TAX: Nevada does not impose any estate tax over and above the federal tax liability. This means the properties and oey you worked so hard to build can be passed on to your heirs intact.
NO FRANCHISE TAX: A franchise tax is what you pay for the privilege of doing business in a given jurisdiction and is based on income, outstanding shares, assets or some conbination threof. Nevada levies no franchise tax whatsoever.
NO GIFT TAX: Nevada allows you to transfer your property, money and legacy when and to whom you desire, without paying tax to Nevada. No gift taxes means you won't be penalized for your generosity in life, and no inheritance tax means that your heirs won't be subject to costly expenses on top of their personal loss.
NO INVENTORY TAX: Nevada has no tax on inventories held for sale within Nevvada or for interstate transit. Business can take advantage of Nevada's liberal free Port Laws and Foreign tTrade Zones to
warehouse, fulfill and shop orders from within the state to save money and protect profits. A Foreign Trade one (FTZ) is a site within the United States, in or near a United states Customs Port of entry, where foreign and domestic merchandise is generally considered to be international commerce. The raidly grownig zonee program is flexible and offers solutions to business issures not addressed by othercustom procedures. Nevada's FTZ #89 is comprised of six sites strategically located throuthout Southern Nevada. NO TAX ON CORPORATE SHARES: Nevada levies no taxes on corporate stock or LLC membership interests. Of course, few states tax stock shares, but some states do levy costly filing fees which can virtually amount to taxation.
